How to set a CPC budget and checkout limits
Your monthly target budget and user checkout limits control how much you spend on Cost Per Circ (CPC) content in your digital collection.
You need to set a budget and checkout limit for each format you want to offer. Once you've added CPC titles in a format, entered a target budget, and set a monthly user checkout limit, that format becomes active.
You can edit your target budget and user checkout limits at any time, and changes will take place within 24 hours.
Setting a monthly budget
To set your target budget:
- Sign into OverDrive Marketplace.
- In the Shop drop-down, select Cost Per Circ.
- On the left side of the page, select CPC monthly budget.
- In the "Manage Budget" window, enter your target monthly budget for each format.
- Select Confirm or Update.
To view and manage your CPC budget, you can:
- Click Settings (in the top-right corner of Marketplace) to view your total available CPC budget. Click Available CPC budget to view and edit the budget for each format.
- In the Billing drop-down, select Manage budgets to view and edit your CPC budget for each format.
When you edit your target budget, make sure to enter your new total budget, not the amount you want to add or subtract.

- Sign into OverDrive Marketplace.
- In the Admin drop-down, select Library site admin or School site admin.
