How to create a cart
You can create as many carts as you'd like to organize titles as you shop.
To create a cart:
- Sign into OverDrive Marketplace.
- From the Shop drop-down, select either One Copy/One User & Metered Access or Simultaneous Use.
- If you chose Simultaneous Use, select a publisher before moving to step 3.
- If you're shopping for Cost Per Circ, Class Set, or On-Demand Class Set titles, those lending models don't use carts for purchasing. Learn how to add Cost Per Circ titles or purchase Class Sets and On-Demand Class Sets.
- Click the Add to main cart drop-down next to a title, then Add to new cart.
Or, if you don't have a main cart yet, simply select Add to new cart next to a title. - In the "Create cart" window, enter a name and description (optional) and choose from these options:
- For Simultaneous Use carts only: If the publisher offers multiple plans, choose a plan.
- Pin the cart (which makes it active so you can add more titles to it). Learn more about pinning carts.
- Lock the cart (which prevents most other Marketplace users from making changes to it). Learn more about locking carts.
- Click Create.
