How to edit a Local Content title
To edit a Local Content title in your collection:
- Sign into OverDrive Marketplace.
- Select the Admin drop-down, then Local content.
- Select Edit a title.
Note: This option will be grayed out if you're working on adding a new title, since only one title can be added or edited at a time. - Find the Local Content title you'd like to edit.
- Next to the title, you can:
- Click Edit to edit the title's metadata, replace the cover, or upload a new content file (ebooks only) that will overwrite the old one after processing (typically 24 to 48 hours).
- Click Add format (ebooks only) to upload the same title in another format (e.g., PDF).
- Click Delete to remove the title listing from your Marketplace account.
Note: Deleting a Local Content title listing from your Marketplace account does not remove it from your digital collection. You'll need to weed Local Content titles to remove them from your collection. - Click Delete format to remove a format (if there are multiple formats). We don't recommend deleting OverDrive Read (for ebooks) or OverDrive Listen (for audiobooks), since that will make your title incompatible with Sora (for schools) or Libby (for libraries).
Note: Once you delete a format for a Local Content title, you cannot re-upload that format for that title.
