Why am I getting different results for the same time frame using the "Checkouts" report?

If you run the Checkouts report multiple times with the same report options, you might see different results for several reasons:

• If you're running the report by format, some "Pending" formats may have been updated. Once a "Pending" title is downloaded or opened, the format is updated in your reports.
• If you're running the report by branch and there were branch code changes, your results might have changed.
• Titles may have been returned at your request or recalled (e.g., if the publisher didn't have the rights to sell it). In these cases, any data related to the title (checkouts, holds, etc.) is removed from reports.
• Advantage only: Advantage copies of shared collection/consortium-owned titles may have been purchased for the first time. When you purchase an Advantage copy of a shared collection/consortium-owned title, all historical checkouts for that title by your users appear in the report.
