Compiling state reports for your library
You can find information for your library's state reports on the Insights tab.
To view how many unique users have checked out a title in a specific time period, select the Insights tab, then look at the "Total unique users" field (under "Summary").
You can edit the time period by selecting in the box under "Summary."
Advantage only: If you're signed in with an Advantage account, the "Summary" section includes data from the entire shared collection (also called the consortium). To see unique users for just your Advantage collection, use the Unique users report (under Insights > User activity reports) and make sure your Advantage library is selected for the "Branch" filter.
To view your circulation statistics for the year, use the Checkouts report (under Insights > Popular reports). You can customize your report options to view checkouts for specific formats (ebook, audiobook, Kindle, etc.) during a specific date range.
Advantage only: To see checkouts for just your Advantage titles, select either Show all checkouts on Advantage-owned titles or Show only checkouts by my Advantage users on my Advantage-owned titles in the report options window.
To view your holdings for each format, select the Insights tab, then look at the totals under "Holdings."
By default, you'll see a recent total of how many titles and copies you own in each format. To see your holdings from a previous date, select and choose an end date.
Advantage only: To see your Advantage holdings, select the Advantage collection checkbox next to "Filter holdings by."
Notes:
- Weeded titles, expired titles, and external services aren't included in your total.
- Each Cost Per Circ or Simultaneous Use title counts as a single copy.
To view your yearly expenditures by format, use the following resources:
For One Copy/One User and Metered Access titles: Use the Purchased titles summary report (under Insights > Purchase & order reports). When you run this report, you can customize your report options to view purchased titles by format during a specific date range.
For Simultaneous Use titles and subscription services: Use the Simultaneous Use orders report (under Insights > Purchase & order reports). When you run this report, you can select a specific time period, then select Create worksheet to export the results into Excel. From there, you'll be able to calculate total expenditures by format.
For Cost Per Circ titles and external services that use the Cost Per Circ model: Go to the View invoices page (under Billing > View invoices). Then, select Search invoices, choose a date range, remove filters from the "Payment status" field, and select Content: Cost Per Circ under "Invoice type."
