How to manage a user's hold

Permission required: End-user support

To cancel a user's hold or change their place on the holds list:

  1. Sign into OverDrive Marketplace.
  2. Click the Support tab, then Manage holds.
  3. In the search box, enter the title, user ID, or user email address for the hold, then click Search.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to a hold to edit or remove it. Updated hold positions may take up to 24 hours to be visible to users.
