About the "Current holds" report

With this report, you can view titles that your users currently have on hold (including preorder titles).

You can run the report by title or by user, and you can filter by branch, weed status (weeded or in collection), hold status (active or suspended), availability (currently for sale or not), and more.

Current average wait period

The "Current average wait period" is displayed in the table above the report grid and updates daily. The average wait period calculation uses active holds placed by users from all branches who've borrowed a title in the last 90 days. It doesn't include copies designated for Lucky Day, holds on titles no longer available for sale, preorders, or suspended holds (including "deliver later" holds).

Holds ratio

The holds ratio is calculated by dividing the number of holds on the title by the number of copies you own. Learn more about holds ratios.

Finding user IDs and email addresses in the report

You can find user information for each hold by clicking the linked number in the "Holds" or "All holds" column.

If you have Marketplace settings permission, you can opt to display user IDs (library card numbers or usernames) and/or email addresses in this report by adjusting your Marketplace settings (under the Admin tab).

Note: Libby doesn't require users to enter an email address.
