What's on the Insights tab?
On the Insights tab, you can view summary information for your library or school's digital collection, understand trends, and run detailed reports.
When you select the Insights tab, you'll see:
- A "Summary" box showing your total unique users, checkouts, and holds. By default, the data includes all formats for the last 30 days. To change the time period or formats, click .
- A "Holdings" or "Titles in my collection" section showing the total number of titles and copies in your collection by format.
- To see your totals from a previous date, select and choose an end date.
Note: The earliest end date you can choose is July 1, 2019. - If you're signed in with a consortium or Advantage account, use the checkboxes next to "Filter holdings by" to filter the numbers shown:
- Advantage collection: all titles purchased by your Advantage library or school.
- Shared collection: all titles purchased by the shared collection (also called the consortium).
- Advantage Plus: all titles shared by other Advantage libraries or schools with the shared collection/consortium.
- To see your totals from a previous date, select and choose an end date.
- A "Current activity" section showing current checkouts, holds, and average wait period for holds.
For more detailed information about your collection, select a report from the left side of the Insights tab. You can see reports about title activity, purchases and orders, and user activity.
Libraries can view the Patron interests dashboard to see their most popular titles, lists, and subjects in Libby. Libraries can also use this page to see circulation activity for all their lists and campaigns in Libby.
Visit the Trends page for at-a-glance information on how your collection's activity has changed over time.
You can hover over the charts to see individual data points.
Some charts let you change the time period shown or the starting month.
Select Save PDF (at the top of the page) to download the charts from the Trends page for your own records.
Note: Your monthly "unique users" trend line (at the bottom of the Trends page) may show more unique users than the Unique users report. This is because the monthly trend line includes any user who borrows a title or places a hold, while the Unique users report only includes users who borrow titles.
Schools can visit the Sora activity page to see overall reading data, user activity, achievements earned, and trending titles in Sora.
